Inside Sales/Telemarketing
The Inside Sales/Telemarketer is expected to network and prospect for new opportunities, leverage existing customer base and consistently apply superior salesmanship to win competitive opportunities. We are looking for someone who is energetic, well spoken, punctual and reliable with at least 2 years experience in inside sales or telemarketing environment. You will be calling on large school districts across North America at the executive level including superintendents. This is a base pay with commission position and this position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will work closely with the Vice President of Sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities through directed outbound calls and cold calling
o generate leads in conjunction with marketing programs
o qualify new business prospects
o present our product/service offerings
o recruit prospects and customers to attend Webinars, conferences, user meetings, etc
o gather new customer data
o conduct surveys
o schedule qualified appointments for Sales Managers
- Spend 75% of the time engaged in outbound sales activities
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
- Generate relationships with potential customers through consistent verbal and written communication.
- Achieve and exceed established weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives.
- Record daily and weekly sales activity reporting, including backlog and opportunity tracking, sales call activity, and related information.

Education:
BA degree
Job Knowledge/Experience:
- 2-4 years of Inside Sales or Telemarketing experience.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge and experience using Salesforce.com desired
Language/Writing/Communication Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with customers in all levels of management, peers in other departments, sales managers
- We are looking for a professional, polished in manner and appearance, able to communicate in a detailed articulate manner.
